First and foremost, I am a Hoosier. I have lived in Indiana my entire life. I grew up in the small town of Albany, Indiana in Delaware County. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington for my undergraduate studies and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis for law school. I worked primarily in Muncie, Indiana for 4 years in between undergraduate studies and law school. I have lived in and experienced small, medium, and large Indiana cities, and they are all “just right” to me in their own ways. James B. Martindale, the founder of the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, is my relative and native of Henry County, the southern adjacent county to Delaware County. It is my honor and mission to uphold the Indiana Martindale legal tradition and to serve the legal needs of Hoosiers who need a voice and justice. I got into practicing law because politics and government interest me, I enjoy reading, and law provides me the professional opportunity to serve and help people: the last reason is what keeps me going professionally and as a human being.
Outside of the law, my hobbies include IU athletics, Colts, Pacers, fishing, kayaking, hiking, movies, music, reading, and my two cats.
